Holly Willoughby announced a huge shake-up to the Dancing on Ice 2019 format on Sunday night’s episode (February 17).
Just moments into the ITV skating show’s broadcast, Holly, who presents the series alongside Phillip Schofield, broke the news that the episode wouldn’t follow the same format as previous episodes in the series.
The Dancing on Ice presenter revealed that two celebrity contestants would be leaving the competition instead of just one.
It didn’t take long for viewers to flock to social media to express their shock at the news.
After Holly broke the news, one fan said on Twitter: "Double elimination, the celebs really need to up their game this week."
A second tweeted: "It's all going to be very tense tonight. A double elimination!"
While a third seemed disappointed at the shake-up, saying: "Why is there a double elimination? It's getting more like X Factor."
