The Walking Dead has certainly lost a lot of its members over the past few years.

And as the number of team members grow, so too does the amount of casualties suffered along the way.

Most recently, viewers have had to witness the tragic loss of Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) - who was shipped away on a mysterious helicopter.

And as if that loss wasn’t bad enough, viewers then saw Jesus (Tom Payne) savagely killed by a brand new enemy: The Whisperers.

One of the show’s newcomers, Luke (Dan Fogler), has managed to keep out of harm’s way so far, but - as always with The Walking Dead - no one is ever safe.

Express.co.uk, along with other press, recently caught up with Dan to discuss his future on the show.

And although he looks quite safe at the moment, he revealed some worries about eventually becoming a walker.

Discussing the death of his community, he harrowingly began: “Everyone is eventually going to become a zombie, you know, right? That’s where everything is leading.”

Despite dropping this bombshell, Dan went on to reveal why he doesn’t want Luke to become a walker any time soon.
