She was spotted out eating with her stylist friend Jessica Mulroney in Lower Manhattan the following day.
Around 15 friends are expected to attend Meghan's baby shower.
Miss Mulroney is said to be organising the party, an American tradition in which female friends celebrate an upcoming birth by bringing gifts for the baby.
It is likely to be Meghan's second to last chance to fly before her baby arrives.
