Eamonn Holmes, 59, and Ruth Langsford, 58, were joined by Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard, 24, on today’s show and spoke about the show. Ruth is no novice to the Strictly dance floor as she took part in the 2017 series, partnered with the only remaining professional from the show’s original cast, Anton, 52. As Ruth was voted off in the midst of the competition, the This Morning presenter and her husband often joke about her stint on the show. However, Eamonn said Strictly Come Dancing professional Anton’s future partners would most likely be women of a more mature calibre. Amongst other things the hosts discussed with AJ, they asked who the star would like to partner up with in the future. AJ told Eamonn and Ruth: “Obviously, The Queen,” then went on to add they wouldn’t have to be too ambitious with their routines: “A beautiful waltz, step side, close together.” However, Eamonn said Anton would most likely be put with the Queen due to her age. “If the Queen were to sign-up she would be dancing with Anton,” Eamonn joked, before adding: “He gets all the duffers.” As one of Anton’s former partners, Ruth hit back at her husband and told AJ: “He gets all the mature ones,” with the young professional laughing away. AJ continued: “It’s about going forward and seeing the future of dance. This year [on Strictly] I did contemporary. “You can see the dance flavour and the way it is changing.
