Introducing Shane, This Morning host Eamonn Holmes said: “From drama in Albert Square, indeed he started his whole career in this studio doing warm up.”
Shane jumped in to add: “I was the warm-up for Noel Edmond in the mid-80s for a breakfast show.”
Ruth Langsford gasped: “Wow,” as Shane continued: “It’s mad isn’t it? I’m back here.”
“Now, he’s back here,” Eamonn said as the EastEnders star turned to the studio windows.
How dare you! How very dare you!
This Morning host Ruth Langsford
He declared: “That’s not real by the way, just so you know.”
Ruth pretended to be furious with Shane’s revelation as she snapped: “How dare you! How very dare you!”
Shane ignored the host, continuing: “And I know because the tide is down on the Thames right now, so that’s a lie. That’s a lie.”
Eamonn and Ruth could be seen giggling before continuing with the interview.
During their chat, Shane revealed the door is open for him to return to EastEnders but he is unsure
