THIS MORNING hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes welcomed EastEnders star Shane Richie onto the show today. Ruth was not impressed when he revealed a studio secret. PUBLISHED: 12:32, Tue, Feb 19, 2019 | UPDATED: 12:49, Tue, Feb 19, 2019 Introducing Shane, This Morning host Eamonn Holmes said: “From drama in Albert Square, indeed he started his whole career in this studio doing warm up.” Shane jumped in to add: “I was the warm-up for Noel Edmond in the mid-80s for a breakfast show.” Ruth Langsford gasped: “Wow,” as Shane continued: “It’s mad isn’t it? I’m back here.” “Now, he’s back here,” Eamonn said as the EastEnders star turned to the studio windows. This Morning host Ruth Langsford He declared: “That’s not real by the way, just so you know.” Ruth pretended to be furious with Shane’s revelation as she snapped: “How dare you! How very dare you!” Shane ignored the host, continuing: “And I know because the tide is down on the Thames right now, so that’s a lie. That’s a lie.” Eamonn and Ruth could be seen giggling before continuing with the interview. During their chat, Shane revealed the door is open for him to return to EastEnders but he is unsure about his future on the BBC soap. Ruth explained to viewers: “He was pushed down the stairs, or fell down the stairs and then his body disappeared. He clarified: “Alfie’s on the run with Phil Mitchell’s fifty grand. AJ revealed he would love to dance with the Queen, commenting: “A beautiful waltz, step side, close together.” Eamonn then joked AJ wouldn’t get to dance with the Queen as another professional would be partnered with her. “If the Queen were to sign-up she would be dancing with Anton.
