Mick and Linda Carter set for heartache in unexpected #EastEnders exit?

Mick (played by Danny Dyer) and Linda (Kellie Bright) have recently begun to get their relationship back on track on EastEnders after menace Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) got the Queen Vic landlord put him behind bars for attempted murder.

After Stuart shot himself last year on the BBC soap, he spun a tale it was Mick who delivered the near-fatal blow and it seemed Linda was convinced by the villains lies, making her husband's family turn against her in order to get closer to Stuart.

Getting the confession she needed to release her husband from behind bars, Linda was thrilled to have Mick back under their roof, but the former jailbird had a very dismissive response to his wife following the horrendous ordeal he faced inside.

With Mick finally understanding Linda’s reasons for getting close to Stuart, the two have been happily living their lives, running the pub as landlord and landlady of the Queen Vic as well as learning the happy news their daughter Nancy Carter (Maddie Hill) is set to marry Tamwar Masood (Himesh Patel).

Next week, the couple will begin preparations for the wedding which is taking place in Australia but Mick’s mother Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) strip some trouble between the pair.

Not always seeing eye-to-eye with her husband’s mother, Linda makes it clear to Mick she is not happy Shirley will be running the pub in their absence.

However, after a year of trouble and turmoil, Mick tries to bring peace towards for the women and makes them call a truce before the couple venture Down Under.

Though, Shirley can’t help but stir some mischief for her daughter-in-law and puts plans into action to ensure her and Mick are left bickering away.

Telling Mick he should honour the Masood’s cultural beliefs and dress accordingly,
