An unusual police presence outside The Mark, the Upper East Side hotel where the Duchess of Sussex is believed to be spending her five-day break, is fuelling suspicious the rumoured baby shower in honour of Meghan is underway. Officers of the New York Police Department (NYPD) and security members outside the lavish 5-star hotel were not the only detail to give the secret event away. Hotel staff members were also spotted taking inside The Mark an array of floral arrangements, including beautiful bouquets of pink roses and table arrangements made out of colourful spring flowers.

Meghan is on a relaxing American break, during which she is enjoying good food, an afternoon tea in the fancy district of SoHo and the company of her friends.
During her short holiday, Meghan is meeting 15 of them, including fellow actress Abigail Spencer and the Duchess’ best friend, Canadian fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney.
Mrs Mulroney is believed to have helped the Duchess organising her Royal Wedding, and has set up today’s cheerful event, according to sources who spoke to Harper’s Bazaar.
