This is because Kate is a “more senior Royal”, presumably because she has been in the family longer, is married to the second-in-line to the throne and is also the mother to a monarch. Meghan’s husband Prince Harry is currently sixth-in-line to the throne, after Prince William and Kate’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Ms Mackintosh-Stewart suggested Kate could ask Meghan how she could help the former actress adjust to Royal life.
She said they could share stories of how marrying the brothers changed their lives.
Ms Mackintosh-Stewart told Express.co.uk: “Being a newcomer into a long-established Royal Family, Kate, as the more senior Royal, should reach out to Meghan to untangle any misunderstandings.
“Simple questions over a cup of tea like ‘how can we support you better as you adjust and transition?’ would go a long way in developing a bond between them.
“Also sharing stories, particularly humorous ones, of how she made the transition is an excellent way of bonding.”
