It’s very beneficial for diabetes patients to go for a walk after eating a large amount of food, according to health app Lifesum’s in-house dietitian, Kajsa Ernestam.
Doing any form of exercise after eating could improve insulin sensitivity, which subsequently lowers the risk of high blood sugar.
It could also help the body to absorb sugar, which is crucial for diabetes patients.
