Stuart (played by Ricky Champ) is a complex EastEnders character, to say the least.
But Rainie (Tanya Franks) will accidentally find something else out about him which could add another layer to him.
Former drug addict Rainie will attend a Narcotics Annonymous meeting in an upcoming episode of the BBC soap.
While there, she sees bad boy neighbour Stuart but avoids being seen by him as she hides round the corner.
However, she does listen to him talk about Dot Cotton (June Brown), who he is lodging with.
Dot is also Rainie’s husband Max’s (Jake Wood) stepmom, so she has a family tie to the situation.
Rainie is intrigued by what she hears and subsequently confronts Stuart later on in the Queen Vic.
Although she initially keeps quiet on how she came to learn the information, Stuart soon twigs that she was at the meeting too.
He then tells her a secret about his past but he soon begins to panic that Rainie will tell his landlady and brother Halfway (Tony Clay).
Stuart is terrified that the truth will out and so he threatens to leave.
