Lily Allen, 33, took some time to speak with the red carpet presenters Yasmin Evans and Jamie Laing about her experiences at the BRITs in the past. The singer recalled the moment she won an award in 2010 and described her over the top entrance to the ceremony, when she flew in on a glittery rocket. She then spoke about negotiating a staircase and army-themed dancers, before swearing on the live feed – well before the 9pm watershed, The BRIT Award winner said: “There were these soldiers that looked like penises," to which the host quipped: “It sounds like a dream I had."
Lily continued: "I flew on this rocket. I was s***ing myself."
Yasmin issued a swift apology for the bad language as the hitmaker covered her mouth, following the blunder.
Despite the hiccup, this did not stop Lily from flaunting her outfit on the red carpet, ahead of the ceremony.
She certainly showcased an eclectic style for the event as she wore her dark tresses straight down with a centre parting.
