When Kim (played by Claire King) made her much-anticipated return to Emmerdale last year, the ITV soap had spared no expense in ensuring her scenes were the most dramatic they could be.
There was a masquerade ball, a catastrophic balcony fall and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) accidentally killed his daughter’s fiance Joe (Ned Porteous).
And amongst the drama, viewers were taken-aback to realise how much Graham (Andrew Scarborough) secretly loved the ex-convict, despite how much she used and abused him in the company over the years from her prison cell.
But just as quickly as Kim blew into the village like a hurricane, she left again, as the events of her welcome home ball put her back in prison.
Fans are aware Kim was always set to return, but she’s not going to do it lightly.
Graham has managed to get a brief glimmer of happiness in the Yorkshire Dales following his painful loss when Joe died and the subsequent grief that pushed him off the wagon.
