Betting company Ladbrokes slashed the odds on Eugenie confirming her pregnancy this year to 1/4, down from 8/13 last month. It comes amid growing rumours that the princess - who married long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank last October - could share happy news in the near future. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Princess Eugenie's pregnancy odds are drastically falling as speculation mounts, and the latest odds suggest it won't be long before the Royals welcome another baby into the family."
The Duchess of York would no doubt be delighted to become a grandmother for the first time.
In an interview with BBC’s The One Show last year ahead of Eugenie’s royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank, Sarah said she would be an “excellent” grandmother.
She added: “I used to write children’s books, and I am a child, I haven’t grown up."
Eugenie sent royal fans into a frenzy in January when she promised 2019 would be “exciting” in a romantic Instagram post.
