Meghan Markle has been warned by royal commentator, Robert Jobson, the “showbiz style” of her baby shower is “not normally the way the Royals would do it.” The royal expert made the remark after he was asked how the Queen would have reacted to her lavish baby shower on Wednesday in New York. He told Sunrise: “The Queen wouldn’t necessarily want it to be all glitzy and all the show.
“We just had that announcement saying how Meghan, through George Clooney, claiming she had been chased and pursued.
“The next thing you know she’s in New York in a very public, almost like a showbiz style.
“It is not normally the way the Royal’s would do it.”
The baby shower was organised by Meghan's close friends including Amal Clooney and Serena Williams and was held in a £57,600-a-night penthouse at the Mark Hotel located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Other friends who attended Meghan’s baby shower were stylist Jessica Mulroney, Gayle King, Misha Nonoo, Markus Anderson, Daniel Martin, Taryn Toomey.
On Monday, Kensington Palace confirmed Meghan's trip was "privately funded" but did not comment on details of her visit or her security plans.
