The Umbrella Academy on Netflix introduced viewers to the seven numbered children of eccentric billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves (played by Colm Feore) in season one. All seven, which include Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) and Number One/Luther (Tom Hopper), was born on the same day spontaneously in 1989. However, The Umbrella Academy was just seven of 43 children born on the same day, prompting fans to ask if they’ll see the rest of the kids in season two.

The Umbrella Academy season two is yet to be given the green light by Netflix, so plot details are yet to be revealed.
Netflix could introduce the other children born on the same day to The Umbrella Academy series in season two, however, as there’s plenty of scope for their inclusion.
In the first episode, the narrator explains how many other children were born on the same day to Ben (Justin H Min) and his adoptive siblings.
Season one of The Umbrella Academy began with a woman in a Russian swimming pool give birth, unexpectedly, to a child.
The narrator explained: “On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth.”

The Umbrella Academy voiceover continued: “This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began.
“Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible.”
It’s then revealed he managed to adopt seven of the children, leaving the whereabouts of the other 36 children shrouded in mystery.
