Malek played Freddie Mercury in the Queen biopic and has already proven unstoppable throughout awards season. It will all culminate on Sunday night when he faces the likes of Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper in the hopes of winning Best Actor for the film. Now, bookies have rated his chances - and it seems he has very little to worry about.
Per Ladbrokes’ latest odds, the actor is the overwhelming odds-on favourite at 1/7.
This means it will be an almighty upset if his name is not in the winning envelope on Sunday night.
His closest competitor - Bale, who won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy - is on 11/2, while Cooper is way out on 20/1.
Green Book’s Viggo Mortensen is a long shot at 100/1, along with Willem Dafoe.
