Carol Vorderman, 58, tends to keep her followers up to date with her activities and it was no different after the beauty revealed how she received “free food”. Taking to Twitter, the maths whizz told her 391,000 followers: “ALWAYS nice to be nice. “Ordering a takeaway in a Cambridge Curry House last night, had to wait 25 mins for it to be ready so had a glass of wine & a lovely chat with the waiter. “He gave me free food to go with the wine. I asked why, and he said, ‘Because you're nice’… I blushed.”(sic)
Fans rushed to comment on the post with one person agreeing with the waiter: “I can concur Ms V. You are indeed nice.”
Not shying away from the compliment, Carol replied: “Awwww x.”(sic)
Another person mused: “Indeed it is nice to be nice, the waiter seems a lovely guy. I would have definitely given you some free food, just to keep you there lol.”(sic)
While a third person quipped: “A beautiful woman like yourself gets free food to go with your meal, I'd get a shrug of the shoulders.”
Meanwhile, the former Countdown favourite responded to another fan after they revealed her “biggest fan” had died.
