Baptiste on BBC last week saw cast member Edward Stratton (played by Tom Hollander) have a tense phone call with Clare (Clare Calbraith), a woman we assume to be his ex-wife. Clare Calbraith, who plays Clare, appeared in Downton Abbey, Vera and Heartbeat among other TV and film roles. Baptiste fans may find out more about who Claire and the rest of the cast are on Baptiste tonight (Sunday, February 24), which airs at 9pm on BBC One.
Clare is played by 45-year-old British actress Clare Calbraith.
The character has so far only appeared briefly in Baptiste as a woman that Stratton talks to on the phone.
Radio Times described her as: “A woman Edward used to be close to, but until Natalie goes missing they hadn’t spoken for two years.”
We might not know much about Clare, but the actress who plays her may be familiar to regular TV viewers.
