The superstar singer, along with Queen, will launch the glitzy ceremony from LA this evening. Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on E! ahead of the Oscars, he revealed how he got his blink-and-you-miss-it role in the record-breaking biopic. And, he joked, it was a particularly “classy” moment.

Lambert plays a trucker who, it is implied, hooks up with Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek) at a truck stop.
Getting cast in the film was as simple as being asked by the group.
“You know, the band was like, ‘you wanna be the movie?’, and I was like, ‘yeah!’” he recalled.
“So I’m a trucker, and I tempt Freddie at the restroom.
