Alex, 40, and Matt, 40, started this evening’s edition of The One Show by speaking with their audience, as the hosts revealed they were going to delve into the world of wrestling during the programme.
It was revealed the reason the presenters were discussing wrestling was because they were later joined by Saraya-Jade Bevis, a.k.a Paige, whose life and journey in the ring has been turned into a motion picture film.
Before Paige joined the presenters, the pair spoke to several guests who were dressed in their wrestling gear and began the BBC programme by asking them about their alter egos and the story behind their costumes.
However, when Matt spoke with one particular guest who referred to themselves as the Neon Explosion, the presenter enquired as to if this was there every day get up.

Though his line of questioning didn’t go down with Alex, who jokingly scolded her co-host for asking the guest such a question.
Turning to the guest, Matt asked: “How about you sir, what’s your story in general?” to which the wrestler replied: “My name is Cassius, the Neon Explosion.”
Asking about his costume, Matt said: “Are you here just dressed up like that for tonight or are you a real wrestler?”
Responding, Cassius told the presenter: “I’m a real wrestler and this is an everyday occurrence.”
However, shocked by Matt’s remark, Alex then jumped in to reprimand her co-host, joking: “Ah, how dare you Matthew Baker. He’s a real wrestler.”
