The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is just weeks away and producers of the hit HBO series have teased fans with another tantalising spoiler.
In a new development, the television network has released several promotional photos ahead of the show’s air date on April 14.
Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) are just some of the favourites included in the mass release of teaser images.
Each character is seen sitting on the Iron Throne, suggesting they have conquered the seven kingdoms.
Mother of Dragons Daenerys, who has made it her life mission to reclaim the throne her father lost, is captured perched on the extravagant chair with a stern expression on her face.
King of the North Jon held a long sword in both hands when he sat on the throne, clothed in a thick fur coat.
His half-sister Arya also grasped a massive steel blade when she took her place on the ceremonial chair.
But the trio were not the only ones who sat on the historic throne, as the Night King (Richard Brake) also settled on the seat.
The menacing villain, who wore studded armour, rested his hands on the arms of the chair in the photograph.
