Coronation Street has thrilled fans of the award-winning ITV soap, by revealing actor Malcolm Hebden has rejoined the show.
The 78-year-old TV star, who plays Norris Cole, was photographed on set filming scenes for the drama series.
A behind-the-scenes look at Malcolm’s upcoming scenes were shared on Coronation Street’s official Instagram account.
“Norris Cole - back where he belongs,” the accompanying caption read. “Welcome home Malcolm Hebden.”

The small screen star was last seen on the programme more than a year ago, after suffering a serious heart attack in 2017.
His scenes are expected to air in April and fans of the show could not be happier following the news of his return.
On person wrote: “Great news, missed him. Welcome home,” while another said: “Excellent news. We have missed Norris.”
A third viewer added: “So pleased you're doing better now...Welcome back! You were greatly missed!”
Another contributor shared: “This is good news indeed! Love Norris Cole,” as a fourth person remarked: “Hooray hooray hooray!”
Someone else penned: “Welcome back Norris, you have been missed. Malcolm I hope all is well with you.”
