She said: “Labour has now come round to the idea of a second referendum. But you said last year, a second referendum undermines the whole principle of democracy. Despite Labour backing a second public vote, reports have emerged that the decision could cause yet another rift within the party as MPs representing northern constituencies did not agree with the move.
