A BBC Question Time audience member sparked a reaction on the show after he claimed former prime minister David Cameron could not be found with Brexit still unresolved. The audience member claimed Theresa May’s Brexit withdrawal agreement was “not good enough” but praised the Prime Minister for “doing a good job”. The BBC Question Time audience member prompted the host, Fiona Bruce, to step in after he questioned where former Conservative leader Mr Cameron was to help handle Brexit, after putting the referendum in place.
He said: “I think we have to be very careful. Just because we want a deal, does not mean we should take a deal that is not good enough.”
The Question Time audience member was then asked if he thought the Prime Minister’s withdrawal agreement was “good enough”.
He replied: “To an extent, I do not think it is good enough.”
But, he added: “At the same time I think she is doing a good job at the moment.
“When we think about two years ago, she didn’t put the Brexit vote in place, it was David Cameron.
