Principal photography on Craig’s fifth and final James Bond movie was set to start this March. However, with the release date for Bond 25 being pushed back from February 14, 2020, to April 8 of the same year, it’s unsurprising that shooting doesn’t start until April. This has allegedly been confirmed by Q star Whishaw, who told a fan who he bumped into at the V&A. An Italian fan, who shared a picture with the actor, wrote: “I met Ben Whishaw (our Q) on the stairs of the Victoria & Albert Museum and I asked him where we are with #Bond25. He told me that they will start filming soon. #London #JamesBond.” Related articles James Bond 25 villain: Rami Malek ‘in FINAL negotiations’ Bohemian Rhapsody's Rami Malek favourite for next James Bond: Odds Another fan asked when Whishaw said they start shooting Bond 25, and the Italian replied: “Yes, they will start on 5th April.” Of course, we still don’t have a title for the new 007 movie or the cast announcement. This traditionally takes place at a press conference at Pinewood Studios before a Bond movie begins production. Spectre, the most recent 007 movie to be released, had a press conference on a Thursday before shooting began on the following Monday. James Bond 25 title and cast announcement date REVEALED? Did Q star Ben Whishaw let slip? (Image: MGM) April 5th this year is a Friday, so perhaps Monday, April 1st will be the big day fans are treated to Bond 25’s title and cast news? Certainly, sometime that week seems more than likely. Of course, we may already know the film’s title as it’s working name is Shatterhand. This was first rumoured over a year ago and even before the brief time that Danny Boyle was attached to direct Bond 25.
