The Dancing on Ice 2019 semi-finals took place tonight. In the episode, competitors performed twice, in a bid to scoop a place in the upcoming final. As usual, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were the ITV faces who were hosting the show. As fans watched their performances, body language expert Judi James took a closer look at the presenters’ body language.

Judi James, body language expert

And, with undeniable excitement in the air, Judi said seemed as though the TV duo found themselves having to ensure that the programme’s schedule stayed on track.

She told Express.co.uk: “You know you've seen a truly exceptional performance when it produces a physiological response from the audience and that's exactly what happened during James Jordan’s thrilling, outstanding first dance in the semi-finals.

“Jason Gardiner said he got goose-bumps, as did I, while Holly threw both arms straight up in the air to yell out that James had received an all tens score.”

Meanwhile, the body language expert insisted that the presenters had found themselves fighting their way through the evening, due to a rather excitable audience.
