Mr Netanyahu lashed out at the 57-page document released on Thursday listing the allegations against him in a defiant speech to the nation. The Israeli leader said the charges are a “ridiculous plot” attempted by the left to quash his electoral support at the April 9 election. The prime minister also branded the prosecutors’ work a three-year-long “witch-hunt”, which has taken its toll on his family.
He said: “They have put us through hell.
“Even now, they are bleeding my wife, chasing my son.”
Israel's Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced last week Mr Netanyahu is facing criminal charges in three separate cases, including bribery, pending a hearing.
