Piers Morgan recounts 'weird' Michael Jackson interview amid #LeavingNeverland ...

Leaving Neverland aired on HBO last night and showcased the alleged abuse that Michael Jackson conducted.

The documentary contained claims from Wade Robson and James Safechuk who claim Jackson abused them.

Today’s edition of Good Morning Britain saw hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid discussing the documentary with documentarian Louis Theroux.

On whether the pop star’s music will be ruined from these allegations, Louis explained: “It’s muddied with Michael Jackson.

“Because part of his persona was this quasi-messianic figure who would be surrounded with children.

“And I think that would all feel very wrong now. But I mean as naive as that may sound, a lot of that work will stand but it takes time.”

Piers then chimed in with his own story about Jackson, in which he announced: “I interviewed him once over the telephone.

“But the weirdest thing about Michael Jackson which, I think, encouraged my suspicions about him as a human being was when he talked about charity and children he had this very soft and high pitched voice.

“And when I changed the subject to business his voice dropped several octaves and became a completely different person to talk to.”

Receiving silence from Susanna and Louis, Piers continued: “That was weird to me.
