This Friday the first female-led MCU solo movie is released before Captain Marvel joins her fellow superheroes in Avengers Endgame this April. And being a solo outing, it should come as little surprise that sequels are very much in the works. Iron Man, Captain America and Thor all had solo trilogies so fans shouldn’t put it past Captain Marvel, alongside Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Ant-Man. Now Marvel boss Kevin Feige has teased, in the most cryptic way possible, what to expect with Captain Marvel 2.
Speaking with Screen Rant, Feige said: “The making of a first film is in some ways a brainstorm on the future and on what can be.
“So what it will be again is not clear. But what it could be is pretty amazing.”
At first, it may seem he’s not revealing much at all – after all Feige wants to keep the future of the franchise a secret for now.
