EastEnders fans have seen a lot of villains and bad-guys take on Phil Mitchell (played by Steve McFadden) throughout the years.
Phil has even been one of the show’s villains himself, but has since resided himself to his business, and his wife Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean).
However his quiet nights in could be about to end as the show has reportedly hired a brand new evildoer to take on the classic hard man.
But will Phil be able to stand toe-to-toe against another nemesis, or could this be his last venture on the BBC soap?
It has been reported Brookside legend Paul Usher has joined the cast of the show.
Paul, 57, is apparently heading to Albert Square for a small number of episodes in the coming weeks, according to the insider.
A source told the Daily Star: “Producers were keen to get Paul on board.
"It is only a for a short stint but they wanted to make sure they cast the right actor and they thought he was perfect for the role.”
