The Chase was back on ITV this evening, and Bradley Walsh was presenting the show once again.
This evening’s very first contestant was called Wendy, and she started off by making a rather shocking statement.
Bradley asked her which Chaser she’d like to go up against.
She revealed that she wanted to go up against Paul Sinha since he “gets the most questions wrong.”
The Chaser was then revealed to be Anne Hegerty, and she, Bradley and the show’s viewers were shocked by Wendy’s claims.
“He is the eleventh best player in the country,” Bradley said after Wendy’s comments on Paul.
Viewers then took to Twitter to comment on Wendy’s bold claim.
One viewer said: “Nah she slagged Paul off so my sympathy for her is at an all-time low, got what she deserved.”
“Bet you were wishing it was Paul now eh Wendy,” said one more fan.
Another tweeted: “Anne destroy Wendy for slagging of Paul.”
