Dancing On Ice’s 2019 contestants have built a strong bond and they were sad to see the final star eliminated last night ahead of the finale.
Brian McFadden lost out in the skate-off to Saara Alto when he dropped his partner again.
There were tears all round but according to Creative Director, Dan Whiston, there were even more behind the scenes.
In a column for The Mirror, Dan explained how each contestant had to pick a song that meant a lot to them.
On the show, Wes Nelson and James Jordan became emotional when they had to give reasons a to why they had chosen those tunes.
But according to Dan, the tears didn’t stop there.
He wrote in the publication: “I don’t think I’ve seen as many tears in training as I saw last week.
“Every celebrity chose a song that meant something to them, so emotions were high.
