Meghan Markle hit by vile online abuse AFTER royals reveal social media ...

Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Kensington Palace yesterday issued guidelines to the public in a bid to crack down on abusive comments. They warned that trolls could be blocked or even reported to the police. The rules were listed on the royal family’s website and shared on their social media accounts.

The guidelines say comments must not "contain spam, be defamatory of any person, deceive others, be obscene, offensive, threatening, abusive, hateful, inflammatory or promote sexually explicit material or violence" or "promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age".

But the Duchess of Sussex has already faced abusive responses to the post, branding her “cheap” and an “embarrassment”.

One wrote: “I politely say Meghan sucks and is an embarrassment to the royal family.”

A second said: “How come you didn't need these guidelines before #MeghanMarkle sneaked her way into your family?”
