Fortnite update 8.01 appears to have been delayed by Epic Games.
Fortnite Battle Royale fans had thought patch 8.01 would be landing today (March 5) on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, PCs and Macs.
Fortnite update 8.01 is expected to be a content update and these typically drop at 1pm UK time on a Tuesday.
The official Fortnite Twitter in advance lets fans know when a content update or a full fat patch is set to drop.
However, so far there’s been no word on when Fortnite update 8.01 will drop - meaning it looks likely that it won’t be releasing today.
Epic Games hasn’t revealed when Fortnite update 8.01 will be launching but it likely will arrive on Wednesday March 6.
If it is a content update as anticipated then there shouldn’t be any server downtime to accompany it.
If - as predicted - Fortnite update 8.01 launches on Wednesday March 6 at 1pm UK then patch notes should become available around the same time also.
