Keith Flint died aged 49 after taking his own life, his bandmate Liam Howlett confirmed on their official Instagram page on Monday. He wrote: “The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend. I’m shell shocked, f**** angry, confused and heart broken... r.i.p brother Liam #theprodigy." According to The Sun, Keith had split from his wife last year and put their shared home up for sale just days before his death. The publication reported that Estate agents Anderson’s posted details of the house last Friday, but they took it down earlier this week.

Now, a source has claimed Keith “made various phone calls” to Mayumi asking her to reconsider their split.
The insider told the publication: “Keith always hoped they could make it work and he made various phone calls to her, pleading with her.
“But she didn’t change her mind and insisted they sell the house. It broke Keith.
“Mayumi isn’t to blame but it seems that Keith didn’t think he could carry on without her.”
The pair married in 2006 and lived together at a farmhouse in Essex.
