#TheArchers - Tony Archer’s EU RANT leaves listeners in turmoil

The Archers stalwart, Tony Archer (played by David Troughton), couldn’t help but let out a rant this evening. 

He was tasked with the extremely laborious task of moving some new cows around Bridge Farm. 

Joined by Johnny Phillips (Tom Gibbons), the pair had a whole new herd of Montbéliarde cows.

But it seemed they were a frisky bunch and it certainly took a long time to shift them.

At the end of the tiring task, Tony and Johnny reflected on how it had gone and it seemed Tony wasn’t a fan of the breed.

He went on a rant about the nature of the cow, explaining they weren’t too happy about being shifted around. 

“These Montbéliardes are so contrary,” he started. 

Tony continued: “I’ve never known such a bunch of cattle. Give me British Friesians every time.

“Just as well it’s you looking after them then. If it was down to me, we’d be heading for an international incident.”
