Celebs Go Dating returned to E4 (Sky channel 135) in 2019 with dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson playing match-makers with a new group of single celebrities. TV presenter and dating expert Anna joined the series following the departure of Nadia Essex in the last season of Celebs Go Dating. Nadia’s absence has left many fans of the show asking: Why did she leave Celebs Go Dating? Express.co.uk exclusively spoke with Anna to discuss her departure.
Nadia left Celebs Go Dating while filming for series five in 2018 was still ongoing.
Celebs Go Dating viewers were left speculating as to why she had left and Nadia has now broken her silence on the issue and explained all in a lengthy Instagram post.
Nadia wrote on social media: “Darlings, I think it’s important I give some guidance as the past few days have been tough.
“Please don’t tag me in Celebs Go Dating chat…that chapter has, reluctantly, closed and I need to move on.
“There is no going back. It’s done,” she added in one of her posts.

Nadia continued to address her Celebs Go dating exit by saying: “Please be mindful that I was not sacked from CGD.
“I felt I was forced to leave for reasons that will be explained in court in the coming months.”
The former Celebs Go Dating host also paid tribute to Anna who landed the presenting role in 2019.
