#MichaelJackson #LeavingNeverland sickens viewers with more abuse claims

Leaving Neverland concluded on Channel 4 this evening as Wade Robson and James Safechuck continued their harrowing stories about Michael Jackson. 

The pair claim to have been abused by the pop icon in the eighties and nineties.

Last night, Wade and James discussed the extent of how Michael allegedly groomed them and got them into his close circle. 

Tonight, they explained how the Thriller hitmaker distanced himself from them.

They recalled the final sexual encounters they are said to have had with Michael and how they were asked to defend him when he was accused of child abuse in 1993. 

When discussing why he originally chose to protect Michael, James said: “I remember going in there [to court] and being very robotic. We’d rehearsed it so much it was like going through the motions - like part of my job - to do that for Michael.”

Wade added: “Without flinching, without bating an eyelash, my answer was ‘No. No way. Absolutely not.’

“The first thing that came to mind for me, was everything Michael started saying to me when I was seven. That if anyone found out we were doing these sorts of things, these sexual things, that he and I would go to jail for the rest of our lives. It was terrifying.” 

However, viewers were completely horrified by what they were hearing and many flocked to Twitter to comment.
