After Life dives into a number of tough subjects throughout its six episodes on Netflix.
And Tony (played by Ricky Gervais) isn’t exactly dealing with the loss of Lisa (Kerry Godliman) well, which causes him to hit out at the people around him.
Lisa’s portion of the story is told through Tony looking at old home videos of the couple’s good times.
However not everything made it to the final cut of the show.
Speaking to press including Express.co.uk, Kerry explained the filming process of her few scenes in the show.
She said: “[Filming] the hospital was a different kind of day to d***ing about with you.”
Ricky elaborated, saying: “We didn’t want to make it a coffee advert.
“We wanted to be in a real relationship, we wanted to be a real couple f***ing about and getting drunk and thinking ‘f***ing hell, who cares?’”
