Emma Willis, 42, is the current host of the ITV series The Voice UK 2019 and regularly posts snaps with her husband on Instagram. However, Matt Willis, 35, has revealed his TV presenter wife was “really upset” following their wedding in 2008 because she didn’t want it to be over. Speaking to Christine Lampard on the ITV morning show Lorraine, the singer revealed this was partly the reason the pair decided to renew their wedding vows last year. Matt said: “The day after we got married, Emma said to me she was devastated the wedding was over because she planned it for such a long time.
“She was really upset and she said we’re coming back here in 10 years time and we’re going to do it all again.”
The Busted star admitted each year Emma would remind him that they were getting close to renewing their wedding vows.
Matt spilled: “Every year she’d be like nine years left, eight years left. And then last year she was like, ‘Right party time’. I was like, Oh we’re doing this. Alright cool'.”
The celebrity couple renewed their vows on their tenth wedding anniversary in July.
