Liverpool will take on Burnley in the Premier League this afternoon at Anfield.
The Reds dropped four points behind fellow title contenders Manchester City yesterday who registered a 3-1 win against Watford.
If Liverpool win today it will bring the gap between the two sides back up to one point with just eight games left to play this season.
It’s set to be a dramatic and tense run to see who can become Premier League champions after one of the tightest title races in years.
Speaking ahead of today’s game, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: “The plan is clear: we have to win football games.
“Manchester City play on Saturday, so we will know the result before we start so there is no reason to make a big fuss.
“We are in a position we like to be in, it is not a problem.
“We wanted to be in a position to fight for the top spot in the league and we are still in it and that is all we need to be positive and optimistic.”
