The Order on ending explained: What happened at the end of #TheOrder?

The Order ending explained a lot of the mythology of the Netflix series, but it also left a lot of fans’ questions unanswered. The Netflix series’ ending, however, set up a second season by leaving all the Knights of St Christopher without their memories. The Order on Netflix’s ending also set up Vera Stone (played by Katharine Isabelle) as the enemy for the next series by leaving her in possession of the Vade Mecum.

What happened at the end of The Order?

The Order with the Blue Rose members blowing their magic dust at werewolves Jack Morton (Jake Manley), Randall Carpio (Adam DiMarco), Gabrielle (Louriza Tronco) and Hamish Duke (Thomas Elms).

Whereas this magic usually only removes the victim’s most recent memories, at the end of The Order Jack cannot even remember his own name, suggesting stronger magic is at play.

Prior to this, however, Jack was central in stopping the evil plan of his father Edward Coventry (Max Martini).

Edward was planning to bind with the Vade Mecum to take over the world, but first, he has to perform a ceremony requiring the sacrifice of his first-born son.

Edward thinks that this means he must kill Maddox (Christian Michael Cooper), who they have kidnapped, but in reality it is Jack he must sacrifice.
