#DancingOnIce star James Jordan gives health update 'There's a tear!'

James Jordan, 40, has since taken to Instagram to give fans an update on his injuries as he sat with his doctor, who gave a detailed analysis of the “bruised” shoulder today. In view of his 151,000 followers, the champion filmed himself inside the doctor’s office after seeking advice on his arm. The professional dancer said: “I’ve had an MRI scan and now I’m here with Dr Wallace who is apparently one of the best shoulder surgeons in the country, I’ve been told by physio. “Results of the MRI scans are here, and you’re going to explain with the diagrams what actually happened,” as he panned the camera to his doctor.

“So here we go!” he added.

Dr Wallace took to his computer screen which showed a scan of his shoulder injury and said: “You’ve had quite a significant injury to the shoulder.

“There is a lot of fluid around the joint and there looks like there is a small tear of the leading edge of the sublexed tendon. That is the main one that lifts the arm.

“There is some bruising in the bone and if you look in the cross section in view, it also shows the bone bruise.

“But it looks like there is a tear at the rim of the socket.”
