Avios points are accrued from something as simple as a shopping trip yet can be spent on lavish holidays and vacation perks, making them much-loved by travellers. They can be collected by business travellers and those heading overseas for leisure alike. Points can not only be spent on flight routes but additions such as hotels, car hire and days out. Some airline companies such as British Airways offer some flyers particular perks, as well as easier ways to collect them, courtesy of an Avios credit card.
The Avios points can be used to pay in full – and in part – the costs of flights.
As taxes and costs make up substantial proportions of flight costs, travellers are advised to benefit more from their Avios points they should use them to pay for the actual flight price fare.
