Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have perhaps one of the most famous and tumultuous royal romances, beside that of Prince Charles and Princess Diana of course.
The redhead, who was the daughter of Prince Philip and Prince Charles’ polo instructor, charmed the British public with her easy wit.
However, she would later be embroiled in a number of scandals that would muddy her reputation.
She revealed a glimpse inside Prince Andrew’s secret visits to her flat in Clapham before they were married.

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, once appeared on the Graham Norton show, and she ended up revealing a lot about her life with Prince Andrew before the couple married.
Sarah appeared on the Graham Norton Show almost 10 years ago in 2009.
During the programme the popular British TV host quizzed Sarah on her relationship with Prince Andrew.
Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York married in 1986, but divorced 10 years later.
Sarah has since blamed the Prince’s absence in the navy as one of the reasons for the relationship’s breakdown.
Aside from royal life, Graham was interested in what is was like when the Prince and Sarah were dating.
He asked the Duchess: “You just lived in a flat in Clapham didn’t you?”
Laughing at the memory, Sarah said: “Lavender Gardens to be precise.”
Graham asked: “Would he come and visit you in the flat in Clapham?”
Sarah revealed the the Queen’s second eldest son did, in fact, come and visit her when she lived in the south London area near Battersea.
However, the Prince was rather taken aback by her accommodation, she revealed.

“Yes he did yes. It was a ground floor flat, and he couldn’t believe my bathroom and my bedroom and everything was all in one room because I rented the room for £30 a week.
“I was a single working girl.”
Probing into the security the prince doubtless emplyed, Graham asked: “Would there be a big secret service car outside?”
“Well I think there was a couple of policemen,” Sarah retorted.
“In fact, I probbly had to get on better with the police men than Prince Andrew, just to make sure on the car
