Tonight’s double bill instalment of Emmerdale set up plenty of new drama for various characters in the sleepy Yorkshire village.
The highly-anticipated return of Kim Tate (played by Claire King) on the ITV soap was explosive from the get go, and more than one character was left upset by her return.
Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) was absolutely distraught when she spotted her boyfriend Graham (Andrew Scarborough) coming down the stairs with a dressing gown-clad Kim - it was clear what the pair had been up to.
Devastated by his actions but unable to explain why he’d done it, a forlorn Graham simply listened as Megan sobbed and yelled at him.
Simply telling the mother-of-one she could do “better” than him, Graham appeared to have given up on all sense of a moral compass.
But it was Megan’s next words that may have alarmingly foreshadowed what’s to come for the businessman and former butler.
“I know, I’m weak, I’m pathetic,” Graham admitted, but Megan declared he was actually “sick”.
“You must have known Kim was due out today,” Megan then accused, as Graham responded he’d had no idea until Kim rang him in the morning.
