Jack Whitehall reveals unbelievable Prince Charles swipe - 'I died'

Jack, 30, will join host Jonathan Ross, 58, as he also welcomes Countdown star Rachel Riley, 33, and actor Ralph Fiennes, 56.

Fresh from his second stint of hosting The Brit Awards last month, Jack sits down with the ITV chat show host where the discussion turns to performing for royalty.

Having made a name for himself as a stand-up comic, Jack was asked to perform for His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, 70, and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, 71, at a Christmas Party.

However, the comedian revealed to Jonathan when his routine came to an end, Prince Charles seemed to make a rather sly remark about Jack.

Recounting the events of the evening, Jack began: “It was an honour to be asked to do the Christmas party of Prince Charles… he throws [his staff] a Christmas party each year… and I was the entertainment that year.

“It’s the weirdest gig ever,” Jack exclaimed.

Continuing his tale, the comedian explained: “I walk out, first thing that’s weird is that they’re sat in the front row, Charles and Camilla, in thrones…Also, don’t sit in the front row because that’s your get-out-of-jail-free card as a comic.

“[You pick on the front row], you ask them what they do for a living… I can’t ask Prince Charles what he does for a living!

“[It was a] small room, maybe forty people, all of my material was terrible…
