UPDATE
If you registered for the live stream for the Model Y launch then you should have received your email from Tesla. The email consists of a link to the live stream and some information on timings. The pre-show will begin at 7:45PDT (2:45AM GMT) and the official stage show will begin at 8:00PM PDT ( 3AM GMT).
Ahead of the official unveiling, Tesla has released a video on Twitter of the new car. The car's silhouette has been revealed for the first time in a video which shows a camouflaged video. It has a sleek tapered front-end with the larger rear and height of a compact crossover/SUV.
ORIGINAL STORY
Tesla Model Y will launch today on March 14th at 8pm PDT, which is 3am GMT on March 15th. The new car is being unveiled at an event live from the Tesla Design Studio in Hawthorne, California. It is the sister vehicle to the Model 3, in the same way, the Model X is to the Model S.
The compact SUV/crossover will share a lot of the same DNA, styling, and parts as the Model 3
