Aldi has been awarded the title of ‘Best Grocer’ at the Retail Week Awards 2019. The German supermarket, which operates numerous branches throughout the UK, won a total of two awards including ‘Best Own Brand Range’. Aldi beat off stiff competition from the likes of Ocado, Tesco, and Morrisons. The awards, which have been running for 24 years, are a symbol of excellence within the retail sector and are judged by a panel of esteemed industry experts. The title of ‘Best Grocer’ was given to Aldi in recognition of its achievements and successes over the past year as well its longstanding commitment to delivering products of the highest quality at unbeatable prices.
